Our dive team at Los Arcos dive site. From left to right: Sandra Millen, Jorge, Alicia Hermosillo, Kevin Lee, Allison Vitsky, Roberto and, in front, Poncho. During 9 dives, we found 48 opisthobranch species, the majority of them by eagle-eyes Alicia. Some of the slugs were literally the size of a grain of sand and often camouflaged so well, it took me minutes to "see" them. Alicia should be registered with the federal government as a National Treasure - truly mind boggling how she locates and finds these rare critters. K:-)

on July 22, 2009These rank among the most magnificent images of Mexican opisthobranchs, or any for that matter, that I've ever seen. Amazing!
Great show, Kev.
